Google Photos: shortcuts easier to use with this update

Google Photos hosts a carousel of shortcuts that facilitate access to actions that can be performed from an image.

Google Photos is constantly evolving with new features. In its latest update, the application now offers a new display for the various actions you can perform on an image.

As relays Android Headlines, the novelty concerns the options that you can use after selecting a photo to display it in the viewer. Until now, sliding the finger from the bottom to the top of the screen only allowed to display some metadata of the image.

A carousel of shortcuts

With the latest update of Google Photos, with the same gesture, you will also see a carousel of shortcuts that will slip between the image and metadata. In the carousel, you will find options usually found in the three-point menu at the top right of the screen: Add to an album, Move to Archive, Delete from device, Print or Slideshow.

These shortcuts seem easier to use and fit into the logic of Material Theming so dear to Google. In writing, we have not received these news yet. The deployment is, however, underway asserts Android Headlines, but server side.
