Google Photos is deploying a slight redesign of the Info menu where you can find the location, EXIF data and additional share and action buttons – to make the interface clearer, more convenient and more intuitive. Here are all the info and how to download the APK of the latest version.
Google Photos for Android is deploying a redesign of the Info menu that gives you access to additional information about your library’s images and allows you to take actions such as sharing or creating a slideshow. The red thread of this redesign, is to make the interface clearer, and more convenient.
The screen for viewing photos remains the same – but when you touch the top right button the Info screen appears instead of a long menu. A row of actions – Add to album, archive, delete, order photo, use as, slide show and print – is at the very top of this Info panel. Tracked by the date and time, a description, and a map showing where the photo was taken, followed by GPS coordinates.
Below this section is a Details section where the EXIF data of the image is grouped. These changes were announced since September, but they now seem more widely deployed.
Google Photos 4.30: Download APK
Some people claim that the change only appears in version 4.30 while a small number of users noticed the design change of the menu in version 4.29. Which suggests a server-side change.
However, to be sure to benefit from the functionality as quickly as possible, it is advisable to check that you are running well under the latest version of Google Photos. For this, you can go directly to the Play Store via the link below:
